Orchestra men: Vocalist, composer and producer, actor and discovered talent, but above all, the legendary figure of Bristol sound, a voice band Massive Attack and co-trip-hop.
His debute was setting of formation of Wild Bunch, one that later became Massive Attack. „Blue Lines” and “Protection” are lovely fruits of their cooexistance.
In 1995 he recorded his greatest solo success, the debut album "Maxinquaye".
I will just mention that he recorded together with Bjork, PJ Harvey, Cyndi Lauper, Alanis Morissette and John Frusciante from Red Hot Chili Papers . . . . . among many others
In an extraordinary way he's able to serve mixed echoes of post-punk, reggae, hip hop and even a pure pop sometime :)
